Giselle announced for Summer Session !

Summer Session 2024 will include adapted choreography from the well loved story ballet, Giselle. Summer Session is held in the afternoons from 1 - 4PM starting with ballet class specifically designed for the older adult preparing participants to engage more easily with the choreography. The week is filled with special guests, workshops, and live music accompaniment from well loved Kevin Tam. Sign up for a wonderful week of afternoons HERE .

I choreographed and led the audience in a warm-up and dance section, soprano Karine White sang Cendrillon’s fairy godmother aria, and Timothy Cheung accompanied on piano, during the Canadian Opera Company’s Free Concert Series in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre.

On Saturday evening June 15, I'll be performing a piece from the Story's Edge project during the 2024 Toronto International Storytelling Festival. Story's Edge is an ongoing collaboration with storyteller Dan Yashinsky (www.tellery.com), where I choreograph dance in and around short narratives. We're thrilled to share the stage with international guests Tuup and Jan Blake. Hope you can make it, stay tuned for details.

Invited to perform June 15

Another successful YOU dance residency, with culminating performance on stage with the apprentice dancers of the National Ballet of Canada! I had the pleasure of creating with a dozen grade 5 students to text created with StoryPlanet ( a non-profit group that also has residencies in marginalized areas) and original music by Marel Alemany. I am so proud, renewing my belief in the power of quality arts education as a healing, needed, movement in our world.
